What is perpetual adoration?
Perpetual adoration is a Eucharistic devotion where you meditate and pray in the presence of God in the Eucharist. It is usually a community devotion where people commit to shifts of an hour. This continues throughout the day and night making a constant 24 hour devotion to the Lord in the Eucharist.
What does it mean to take an hour?
Committing to an hour means that every week you will be responsible to show up for that particular hour for adoration. It’s important to keep your commitment so that the continual adoration isn’t broken and that the Eucharist isn’t left alone. If you are unable to make your commitment one week, you can contact us so that we can find you a substitute.
Who are we?
The West End Adoration Chapel is a small perpetual adoration chapel located at Holy Rosary Church. Through the efforts of the local community we have been a part of Steubenville for many years. Hopefully, we can continue these efforts of perpetual adoration so the chapel can continue to be successful for many years to come.
